We are seeking a full time Regional Worker to join our Local Ministries Team to develop SU Scotland’s ministry in West Lothian and Falkirk.  This is as part of the Local Ministries’ East Team, which works in West Lothian and Falkirk, Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian and the Scottish Borders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To bring together local ministry hubs, building relationships with churches, schools, young people and potential volunteers as well as developing those existing relationships to help build our schools’ ministry To grow involvement in our residential work regionally and nationally, in missions and holiday clubs To develop ministry partnerships for this post, for prayer and financial support WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The successful applicant will have experience of schools’ work and Christian ministry with children and/or young people; someone who has led teams of volunteers and is a confident communicator of biblical truth with a wide range of young people. You should be based within easy reach of West Lothian, Falkirk and Larbert and be prepared to support SU Scotland’s ministry in all parts of the region. For this post, it is important that you able to demonstrate a commitment to SU Scotland’s ethos, working principles and vision.  It is also an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act – part 1, schedule 9), that the post-holder is a committed Christian. The appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Disclosure.
