Escape is working exclusively with Component Sense, a local company, working globally to lead the way in empowering sustainability in electronic manufacturing. An Operations Leader is required to join their excellent team and support them in realising the company's exciting global growth plans. This role will initially involve overseeing the Newbridge (Edinburgh) operation whilst supporting existing and new overseas operations for the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Operations Leader will: Manage all aspects and areas of the warehouse, inspection/quality, logistics and 3PL operations Lead a culture of Continuous Improvement to deliver the highest possible quality standards Manage all activities of the warehouse team, including remote-working employees Control documentation and records according to ISO requirements Taking the lead for all H&S matters and facilities management throughout the site Managing and coaching individual performance, including training and developmentAs the company grows, this person, will play a key part in setting up facilities overseas, embedding processes and managing teams to success in these new remote sites. There will be occasional travel involved to the US and to other regions where expansion takes place. About You: To be successful in this role you will likely have; Experience in the electronics industry or have an understanding of engineering/materials Have strong leadership experience, gained within manufacturing or manufacturing logistic Experience of lean manufacturing and quality standards/systems (ISO) Excellent organisational and time-management skills to deal with the fast pace within our industry. Strong communication skills, both written and oral as you would be responsible for generating technical customer reports and interacting regularly with clients are a global customer base.
