More about your role
As a Maintenance Technician you will utilise your knowledge and experience working as part of the Response Repairs and Void team assisting the team to carry out high quality work.
Your time will be spent assisting the carpenters, joiners, roofers and plumbers with basictiling, plastering, woodwork (boxing in of pipes etc) basic brickwork, and plumbing in our tenanted properties as well as working within our void homes.
You will be working in the Edinburgh area.
The working hours are 39 per week across Monday to Friday. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.

More about you
For this role we are looking for someone who has a strong background in fencing, slabbing and related works.
You will be an experienced and competent in maintenance that is known for your high-quality work. You will also have strong basic joinery skills.
A driving licence is essential
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maintenance
Multi-skilled or specific trade with a working knowledge of other trades including joinery and plumbing would be desirable
Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation
As part of our employment checks, this role will require you to complete a satisfactory Basic DBS check
