Design Manager - Facade / Cladding / Curtain Wall / SFS The Company * My client are a well-established Leading Facade Contractor, who have experienced steady growth over the past 10+ years. * Projects ranging from£2m-20m. * My client are a strong investor in their staff and have a low staff turnover. * The company is run by affable directors, who have developed a robust company with a solid reputation. * HQ based in Hampshire The Role - Design Manager My client are looking to appoint a Design Manager to join their Design team, this can be a Hybrid role between office, home and sites. You will ideally have 5+ years in cladding/facade and it would be adventurous to have fire remediation experience. * Design involvement of the project from conception to completion * Overseeing design stages, coordinating with architects, fire engineers and other colleagues * Ensuring projects meeting critical deadlines * Technical knowledge -understanding of fire safety regulations, cladding systems, and materials used in envelope cladding * Compliance - ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and regulations * Financial awareness - budget management, cost estimation and value engineering * Leading a design team and mentoring others This is an exciting time to join a company who are renowned in the industry for investing in their staff.
