Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive 'Office Manager' to oversee the daily operations of a sales office&administration team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional team management skills and demonstrate a strong ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients alike. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all administrative and sales functions are executed efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the business. This is a new role to strengthen the administration and sales support team at a period of rapid growth and expansion.
Responsibilities
* Supervise, train, mentor and manage office staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring that all office procedures are followed correctly.
* Maintain effective communication within the team and with external customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Handle day to day human resources tasks, including , onboarding new starters and employee relations.
* Organise office supplies and equipment, maintaining an efficient inventory system.
* Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and supporting the management team where required.
* Attending regular meetings with the management team, taking minutes for actioning.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in an office management or similar administrative role.
* Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
* Proficient in clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and document management.
* Familiarity with human resources practices is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided and overseen by Head Office HR management.
* Experience using various software including Microsoft Office and other CRM or order processing systems.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Hours - Monday to Friday 8 until 5 with an early finish on Fridays!
Salary - Negotiable dependent upon previous experience.
