Our client based on the Isle of Sheppey requires CNC Machine Operator– the role is working rotating shifts – early/late. The CNC Machine Operator role is offered as full time working the following shift pattern, rotating weekly: Early Shift: 1. to Thursday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break. 1. 6:00 am to 1:30 pm, including a 30-minutelunch break. Late Shift: 1. to Thursday, 12:00 pm to 9:45 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break. While you are training, your working pattern will be: 1. to Thursday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm (including a 30-minute lunch break). 1. 8:30 am to 1:30 pm (no lunch break). Salary – competitive depending on skill level and relevant experience Preference will be given to candidates with CNC machining experience - ideally CNC grinding but milling and or turning experience will be considered. The CNC Machine Operator role will require you to: - * Read and interpret tool drawing and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, control settings and machining methods and sequences. * Load tool blanks into the machine. * Start machine andmonitor displays and machine operation to detect malfunctions. * Stop machine to change cutting tools and setup according to required machining sequence or to measure parts for conformance to drawing specifications. * Inspect and measure tools and adjust machine or alert the team leader as necessary. * Follow all factory procedures in regard to safety, production and quality. * Clean the machine, tooling, parts, and work
