We are looking for a housekeeper to join our residential children’s home in Camden. This role extends beyond just cleaning, providing scope to ensure the young people and staff are supported to maintain the home to a high standard in an engaging, fun and sustainable way. You will contribute to the quality of experience of the service, ensuring all residents and guests feel comfortable and at home. A summary of the main duties and responsibilities include: * Cleaning all rooms including fixtures and fittings, furniture and equipment. * Support with washing and laundering bedding and clothing as required. * Assisting staff with engaging young people in aspects of their independence programme including learning basic household duties * Assisting the cook as required * To be aware of Health and Safety legislation, basic First Aid and the COSHH risk assessment. * Attending and participating in Team Meetings and training as directed bythe Manager. * Ensuring that the household is clean, hygienic and safe. * Monitoring the home to identify an my unsafe condition, hazard or risk within the home and report
