Care Home Manager– Vacancy Reference: PK62047 * Monday to Friday * £55,000+ per annum + Bonus * 50 bedded Residential Home, elderly care * Previous Care Home management experience is required (Registered Manager) This established care company are looking for a motivated Home Manager to maintain the good reputation of the home and offer a fantastic service to residents and their families. The home is located in the attractive area of Whetstone, ideally situated to take advantage of the High Street, and is well served by multiple bus routes, the tube and mainline rail. Your key responsibilitieswill centre on the management of the staff team, and ensuring that the highest standards of person-centred care is delivered to the service users. Within the Care Home Manager role, you will be leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals and hold overall responsibility for the care home. Youwill play a key role in ensuring that the independently-owned company’s high standards are implemented and adhered to throughout the service, striving for excellence. As the Registered Manager you will be a role model in everything you do, and represent the home professionally at all times. You will proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and family members alike. Care Home Registered Manager Skills and Experience: * NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or Registered Managers Award * Preferably 2 or more years of managerial experience within Care Homes * You will possess a strong understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, as well as safeguarding, DOLS and care planning * You will be an excellent communicator, well-versed in leading and motivating a full and varied staff team Registered Care Home Manager Duties will include: * Undertaking the day to day management of the home accordingto the policies and resources determined by the Employer and the requirements of the Health&Social Care Act 2008&2012 and subsequent amendments. * Overall responsibility of the Care Home shared with the Deputy Care Home Manager * Liaising with local authorities and governing bodies such as CQC to ensure the consistency and wellbeing in the home. * Regularly liaising with residents and their families to ensure consistent care is provided throughout.
