We’re currently supporting a provider who are seeking a Home Manager experienced with turnarounds to manage their struggling Home in the Huddersfield area. The Home has low occupancy, little to no agency use and poor CQC ratings.   Is this the role for you? See below!   Key Responsibilities ofa Care Home Manager: Overall running of the home; including budgets, staff management, quality and compliance. Staff appraisals, meetings and disciplinaries. Building Relationships and Communication with residents, relatives and external stakeholders. Work towards ‘Good’ with CQC Improving quality and compliance. Build strong relationships with CQC and the local authority. Building and maintaining high occupancy. Maintaining minimal agency usage.Nursing Home Manager Requirements: Management experience in Care Homes is essential. Turn around / crisis management experience is preferred. Experience working with the Elderly and or Dementia residents. Ambitious and motivated individual. Strong leadership. Good track record with CQC.
