Job Description
Arm processors are the brains in billions of diverse electronic devices! Our Solutions Engineering group, architects, designs, and tests the next generation of chips and subsystems that bring all of Arm's IP together. Within SE Operations, we are seeking an experienced Program Operations Managerto be responsible for the overall operational success of Compute Subsystem programs that are developed by highly skilled and motivated engineers, based locally and abroad.
This role
As an integral member of our team, you will partner with the Solution Program Manager and will manage Compute Subsystem programs from initiation through delivery to our SOC customers.
Job Overview
You will be the gate keeper of plans of record, schedules, budgets, resources, key dependencies, deliverables, risks, and milestones.
Responsibilities
Program Execution
Own Program Initialization: Confluence pagecontent, Program DRIs&Stakeholders, Communication / Collaboration methodology.
Establish program Plan of Records at program commit. Process and track POR changes throughout the program for QMS reporting.
Monitor program development metrics and assures of program schedule compliance.
Communicate program status, issues, risk management and recommended mitigation plans to cross-functional core and executive teams.
Operational Excellence
Establish day-to-day program operational objectives, ensuring adherence to established processes, standards, and quality requirements.
Optimize program efficiency and effectiveness by finding opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Lead engineering program reviews for the alignment between collaborators for the duration of the program.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science or Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience in technology companies.
Proven experience in program management of large complex SOC / subsystem design from concept to production.
Strong problem solving, leadership, technical expertise, and analytical skills
In-depth knowledge of HW / SW program methodologies, SOC design principles, methodologies and tool flows.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across teams with varied strengths.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience
Proven experience in SOC design functions, power / performance use cases, system modeling, chip design&test, PPA tradeoffs, foundry process technology, package design, post silicon bring up, and product qualification.
Knowledge in data analytics, or data automation.
