The Role: Manage the teams associated with student personal development, providing a consistent excellent service to all stakeholders, leading to successful student progression and post-college destinations. Student Skills Manager to lead on the consistency and development of the centralised Personal Development Provision at the college, including Personal Development Portfolio, Student Voice, Students’ Union Executives, Personal Development Coaches, the Enrichment Officer and Learning Resource Centres. What we are looking for in our role: A dynamic manager with a passion for the personal development and success of young people, with proven experience in managing personal development programs within an educational or young people service setting. To apply for the position, you must have previous experience of working with young people preferably in the FE sector and have GCSE’s in English&Maths (Grade A-C or equivalent) together with a Teaching or Coaching Qualification. You will have experience as a Personal Development Manager and ability to lead and inspire your team to achieve excellent student outcomes. effective communication skills are vital for the role. You will have a high level of integrity and professionalism, with an enthusiastic and proactive approach to work and the ability to remain calm under pressure, flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances are essential.
