ThisBusiness Development Executiverole offers an exciting opportunity to work with a market leader, drivingnew business growth, developing key accounts, and expanding market share within theplastic moulding industry.
With over45 years of experience, our client is atrusted supplierof high-qualityplastic components and assembliesto leadingOEMs across industries including agriculture, automotive, construction, off-road vehicles, and medical. Specialising inthermoset and thermoplastic moulding solutions, as well aspainting and assembly, the company has built a strong reputation across the UK and Europe.
Business Development Executive Key Responsibilities
Develop and expandthe company’s client base, identifying new business opportunities across the UK.
Manage your own schedule, planning and attending client meetings to drive sales and build strong relationships.
Execute the company’s sales strategy, consistently achieving targets and revenue growth.
Collaborate with the Head of Salesto ensure all quotations align with company costing procedures.
Provide detailed visit reportsand sales updates to track progress and performance.
Identify and target key industries, leveraging the company’s expertise inplastic moulding, post-moulding finishing (painting), and assembly.
Manage and nurture key accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention.
Support marketing initiativesand contribute to business growth strategies.
What We’re Looking For in a Business Development Executive
Proven experience in business developmentwithin theplastic moulding industry, particularlyinjection moulding.
Strongtechnical knowledgeoftooling design, component design, and injection moulding processes.
In-depthunderstanding of polymers and manufacturing processes.
Experience working with industries such asautomotive, healthcare, agriculture, and construction.
Familiarity withthermoset/moulding structural foam processes(advantageous).
Expertise inpost-moulding operationssuch ascosmetic finishing (painting) and assembly(desirable).
Ability toprepare detailed, costed quotationsin line with company procedures.
Proficiency inCRM systemsand reporting tools.
Ahighly motivated, ambitious individualeager to contribute to business growth.
Business Development Executive Desirable Qualifications& Skills
Background in technical sales or business developmentwithin the plastic moulding sector.
Ideallyeducated to HND level or equivalent.
