IT Support Engineer (1st Line) Salary:£21,000 to £25,000 Location: Bristol Responsibilities: * Deliver initial customer support for incidents and service requests, encompassing technical assistance for computer systems, software, and hardware pertaining to company-supported and military-grade computer applications and platforms. *Maintain accurate progress information for each ticket on an internal service desk system, ensuring timely updates to guarantee users receive comprehensive IT support. * Address interactions via in-person communication, phone calls, email correspondence, or formal ticketing systems. * Appropriately categorize and redirect customer issues beyond the scope of first-line support to the relevant second-line resolver team, whether internal or contracted from a third-party provider. * Employ troubleshooting skills to swiftly identify and resolve faults and issues.
