Unqualified SEND Teachers (English, Maths&Science) Croydon Borough September 2024£120 - £165 per day Our school provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students who require additional support. TimePlan are seeking talented and enthusiastic unqualified teachers for an alternative provision in Croydon. They are looking for English, Science and Maths unqualified teachers to make a lasting impact on their educational journey. We have an incredible opportunity for you to make a profound impact on the lives of young learners in Croydon! At our esteemed school in Croydon, we are seeking specialist unqualified Teachers. You will have the opportunity to lead classes in your chosen subject to students aged 11 - 19 years old. You will be in charge of tailoring your lessons to their needs, providing a blend of alternative education and GCSE content. In each class you will be supported by at least 2 TAS. Additional responsibilities will include marking work, leading the class and taking part in parents' evenings and reports to SLT. They are open to seeing candidates who do not hold QTS or QTLS, however you must have school teaching experience, ideally within a SEND setting and can teach up to GCSE. Students will sometimes be disengaged; therefore, it is imperative you are calm and confident to work in a challenging but rewarding environment. You will be required to apply for an Enhanced DBS if your current DBS is not on the update service.
