PK Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work within one of our  Special Education Needs (SEN) schools in Birmingham that provide support to pupils aged 5-11 with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). This position is to start in September 2024.  Someone with PMLD may have severe difficulties seeing, hearing, speaking and moving. They may havecomplex health and social care needs due to these or other conditions. People with PMLD need a carer or carers to help them with most areas of everyday life, such as eating, washing and going to the toilet The post is offered with a ranging daily rate dependent on experience from £90-100 per dayworking 8.30am – 3.30pm. The role offers an exciting opportunity to join a lovely SEN school with excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team. The successful candidate will have experience working with children in a SEN, school or nursery setting. You may also have experience working with children or adults with complex needs in a care setting. The school is a warm, friendly and inclusive SEN school which is at the heart of a diverse community.
