About the Company - A huge opportunity for an upcoming health and safety professional has been created to continue your Health and Safety career. This client is a market leader in the Civil Engineering sector. Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will support and implement health and safety on a construction project in the Birmingham area. About the Role - You should have between 1-5 years of experience within a construction/civils health and safety role and hold an NEBOSH certificate or similar. You should have a good understanding of relevant SHEQ legislation and industry standards. Responsibilities * Assist in the development and ongoing review of the Health and Safety. * Undertake site inspections and attend Site Review Meetings. * Provide support with the identification and management of SHE risks, issues and opportunities. * Create site-specific audit and inspection packs. * Check that non-compliance reports from both internal and external audits are being adequately closed out with all corrective actions completed. * Audit minor works carried out across sites as and when required. * Proactive, engaging and positive attitude to the promotion of SHE excellence.
