Job description Behaviour Mentors Prospero Teaching currently recruiting for Behaviour Mentors to support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (ages of 11 - 16), within an SEN Provision who specialise in supporting students who are disengaged from mainstream education, or those with additional needs: Social, Emotional, Mental Health/and Behavioural Needs. Daily Rate:£100-£140 Per Day Location: Poulton-Le-Fylde Duration: Long-Term (Summer Term) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Monday - Friday (Full-Time) The successful applicants will have: Ideally experience working with Learning Difficulties, SEMH and/or EBD. Previous experience managing Challenging/Confrontational Behaviour. Previous experience working with children and/or young people. Valid and Enhanced Child or Child and Adult DBS check registered on the update service.The role will consist of: Work with individuals and groups of students, assist in ensuring students are kept on task and completeactivities set by the teacher. Deal with behavioural and special needs issues in conjunction with the teacher. Offering support to the class teacher including helping to implement lesson plans, aims and content. Take small group of students for defined activities. Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
