Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to managing challenging behaviours. Anunderstanding of strategies for supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural challenges. Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours effectively. Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to develop and deliver personalised support plans. Act as a positive role model, promoting resilience, self-regulation, and social skills. Monitor and track student progress, adapting support as needed to achieve positive outcomes.
