Package Description: We’re looking for Bank Support Workers in Newquay Do you enjoy a job where every day is different and you are making a difference to the lives of people?  We support a number of people living in their own homes in the Newquay area.    Being a bank support worker you’ll have flexibility and access to shifts that suit you; you could choose to work for a day here and there, during term times or holidays, evenings only or weekends only.  Experience is not essential as we provide full training. All you need is a willingness to learn, flexibility, a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life!   The support we provide is centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs, which could include developing daily living skills, assisting with personal care and medication to accessing the local community for socialising and hobbies.  A full, manual, UK driving licence required. Benefits: Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £12.27 to £12.54 p/h) Full training to gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate.   On-going training and career development including professional qualifications   Contributory Pension   We cover the cost of DBS checks   Rota's are planned in advance  Access to Wagestream where you can track your basic salary and additional hours earnings throughout the month and stream (access) a portion of those earnings before your monthly pay date.
