An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director with a strong background across Accounts and Tax to take leadership of a small team for a new office of a well established accountancy firm in Berkshire. Description The Associate Director will lead the Accounts& Tax team for their new offices in Berkshire. Responsibilities will include: Leading and managing an small established Accounts, Tax and Bookkeeping team Managing an established general practice client portfolio providing Accounting, Tax and Advisory services. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Ensuring the provision of high-quality professional services to clients and compliance with legal, ethical and statutory regulations. Drive efficiency and profitability, ensuring best practice and utilising technology Training and support of junior staff; leading the development and progression of the team Supporting with business development and the growth of the firm Profile The successful applicant will have: ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification (or equivalent) Strong experience in Accounts& Tax within a professional services firm Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively Excellent planning and organisation skills Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
