Job Title - Assistant Quantity Surveyor Company - SME Medium sized contractor Sector - Civil Engineering Location - West Cheshire Based - In the office / on site Projects - Civil Engineering, Concrete Works, RC Frame, Drainage, Utilities, Bridges, Footpaths, Fit outs, Infrastructure Company: A medium sized engineering contractor who specialise in concrete works and frames. The candidate Experience working for a civil engineering contractor Project experience working on concrete work and frame project experience (ideal but not essential) Relevant degree in Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying/Engineering Discipline or something equivalent Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work under pressure Demonstrable experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment Ability to work to tight deadlines Practical and logical qualities and a methodical way of thinking A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving An ability to create an efficient cost and contract administration procedures Effective time management skills Excellent presentation and communication skills Duties (to assist in the following) The procurement of materials, plant and labour Assisting with applications of payment Assist a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the management of subcontractors / labour Measuring and pricing variations Completing monthly cost reporting Getting involved with client liaison and meetings Salary and package£23,000 - £35,000 depending on experience Car allowance depending on experience and level Pension Holidays If you want to apply please email me a copy of your cv (url removed)
