To strengthen our clients Finance team, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to assist in managing the financial operations and support key decision-making processes within the business. Description Assistant Accountant Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis. Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Provide timely and accurate financial data to support decision-making. Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records. Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts. Assist in resolving discrepancies in financial records. Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Monitor and reconcile supplier and customer accounts. Assist in managing credit control and resolving invoicing issues. Collaborate with production and operations teams to track and analyse manufacturing costs. Support inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and cost variance analysis.
