You will be working in a manufacturing environment, with Standard Operating Procedures in place. You will be joining a team that thrives on teamwork. This job is a full time, fixed term contract for 6 Months. In the Assembly Operative Job you will work the early shift, working hours: Monday to Thursday 05:45 to 14:00 and Friday 05:45 to 12:15. In return you will receive a 15% shift allowance on top of an attractive base salary. What You Will Do: As an Assembly Operative at Stannah, you will: Manufacture subassemblies and test products in line with daily targets. Each operative is responsible for the manufacture of a sub-assembly which is then passed to the next in-line operative. Job Responsibilities: Picking components from bins to assemble the produce Using pneumatic, electric-powered tools, and a small number of hand tools. Use of computers to produce bar code labels. Use of hoists to manoeuvre heavy loads (25kgs) onto pallets. Manually load lighter finished parts onto pallets Remove pallets of finished product to the dispatch area, using a hand palletiser Job Requirements: Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be desirable Excellent team working and ability to integrate into existing team.
