Job Description

T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch for an Administration Assistant to join their team on a Permanent basis. You will play a key role in supporting the Company with a variety of administrative tasks in a small but busy office. The role involves responding to enquiries, researching venues, taking bookings, providing information, chasing payments, reconciling finances as well as arranging and supporting meetings which will include minute taking. Administration Assistant Job Details&Benefits; *£21,500 per annum * 34 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm with an hour lunch break (The role will include some evening and weekend work for which time in lieu arrangements are in place) * 23 days paid holiday per annum plus bank holidays * Company pension scheme Administration Assistant Job Details; * Work with the team to provide administration support for the preparation and planning of events * Book venues, accommodation, travel, group equipment and merchandise, as well as managing the stock of merchandise * Arrange payments to suppliersaccording to contracts and numbers booked * Track budgets and actual expenditure as well as income received for each event * Reconcile event financial transactions * Provide participants with correspondence indicating payment agreements and managing payment schedules, chasing outstandingmonies and / or information where necessary * Record and manage bookings for events which may include waiting lists * Provide regular information to the team that is relevant and compliant with regulations such as GDPR * Support with the production of newsletters as required * Produce internal and external communications to maximise audience reach using a variety of different methods * Maintain the website – including artwork designs * Support the team in arranging meetings * Answer office phone and email enquiries as well as general administration tasks including filing, sending post and any other duties as required Administration Assistant Person Specification; * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Adaptable, flexible and the ability to work independently as well as a team member * Some design / creative skills are advantageous* Confident telephone manner * Excellent Customer Service&Communication skills, both written&verbal * Strong IT skills * Strong attention to detail * Punctual with excellent time keeping * Own transport is required as there may be a requirement to travel to different sites If you are interested in the above role and would like to join a friendly team, then please give us a call at T&K Associates to hear
