Position: Psychology/Sociology - QTS Qualified/ Graduate Teacher Location: Romford/Ingatestone area  School Type: A-level, Secondary School Contract Type: Full-time Start Date: January 2025 - July 2025 Experience: Teaching experience required Qualifications: QTS or PCGE in Psychology/Sociology is ESSENTIAL We are currently looking for a Teacher of Psychology/Sociology to cover a staff member on long term sickness for the year. The successful candidate must be able to teach both subjects to an excellent standard to KS5 (Sixth Form).  Principal Education are seeking reliable, committed, and engaging teachers to meet the high volume of daily teaching needs arising in our secondary schools. This work can be undertaken flexibly, working as often or as infrequently as you wish, aligning with your availability prefreably full time work for this role. To be eligible for this role, you MUST:   Demonstrate the right to work in the United Kingdom.   Possess QTS, QTLS, or anotherrecognised teaching qualification, entitling you to teach in the United Kingdom.   Possess strong behavioural and classroom management skills.   Have relevent experience in the course subject.   Be flexible and adaptable, willing and able to think on your feet.  Demonstrate patience, empathy, composure, and diligence; to help with building and maintaining an optimal and safe learning environment for vulnerable pupils.  Possess a recent, enhanced copy of a DBS – or be willing to obtain one from Principal Education.
