This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.2) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive project plans that align with company goals and objectives. - Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. - Provide Weekly reports of the project progress. Delay, risk, Budget, Actions, etc.. - Oversee the execution of projects related to MRO transfer, ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with aviation industry standards and regulations (e.g., FAA Part 145, IATA). - Implement and utilize project management tools to track progress, costs, and performance against the project plan. - Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including internal teams, airlines, manufacturers, regulatory counterparts, and third-party logistics providers. - Identify potential project risks, particularly those unique to the aviation industry (e.g., regulatory changes, Operation and supply chain disruptions, AOG, and/or geopolitical factors). - Assess and mitigate project risks; identify contingency plans. - Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within aviation distribution centers, optimizing processes for inventory management, order fulfillment, and parts distribution. - Implement lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices to minimize waste and improve operational workflow. - Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within aviation distribution centers, optimizing processes for inventory management, order fulfillment, and parts distribution. - Implement lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices to minimize waste and improve operational workflow. - Lead team efforts in maintaining comprehensive project documentation and reports. - Oversee the development and implementation of distribution center operations, ensuring optimal workflow and efficiency. - Lead and support initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability within aviation distribution centers, such as reducing carbon footprint, waste management, and promoting environmentally friendly practices. - Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
