Job field / Job profile :Supply chain/Supply chain manager Employment type :Permanent Position description : We are actively seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Manager of Supply Chain and Logistics for our Denton site in US and Chihuahua site in Mexico. In this role, you will be at the helm of shaping and executing our supply chain strategy, ensuring operational excellence and driving efficiency throughout our logistics network.Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Supply Chain Leadership: Provide visionary leadership in developing and executing a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals. Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall supply chain agility. Drive new product introduction planning and associated supplied product obsolescence and change activities. Advise management of issues that will impact production and drive coordination of appropriate corrective action when necessary. • End-to-End Logistics Optimization: Oversee the entire logistics lifecycle, from procurement to distribution, implementing best practices to streamline processes and maximize effectiveness. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to meet customer demands. Minimize inventory throughout the supply chain, while optimizing product availability. Ensure ISOcompliance for all processes related to materials management. • Collaborative Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives. Act as a key liaison between suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners. • Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain, utilizing data-driven insights and industry best practices to identify opportunities for enhancement. Implement and lead initiatives todrive operational excellence. Bachelor's (BA / BS) degree in Business, with concentration Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or related discipline. CSPM, or CPIM certification preferred. Eight (8) years materials management and procurement experience, with broad exposure to purchasing, materials management and planning, production, commodity management. Minimum three years of supervisory/leadership experience. Experience in Lean manufacturing.Knowledge of manufacturing disciplines and concepts. Demonstrated ability in problem analysis and problem solving. Ability to work collaboratively as both a team member and team leader. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/MRP systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficiency with linkages between inventory control, planning and procurement Proficient in cost/benefit analysis, ability to understand and explain cost impact of logistics decisions.
