A world leading process equipment manufacturer is seeking a driven and dynamic technical sales manager to join their UK team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid technical sales background, finding new routes to market and a passion for building strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: * As a Technical Sales Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, building rapport and understanding their technical needs to provide tailored solutions. * You’ll visit clients across the UK and Ireland, with regular travel and overnight stays. * You’ll manage new business development as well as some existing accounts, aiming to hit sales targets while providing top-notch service. * Prepare and conduct demonstrations and trials for machinery andequipment. * Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth. What We’re Looking For: * A strong sales background with proven success in technical sales, ideally within machinery or manufacturing. * Ability to investigate and find potential new routes to market for the company products. * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to quickly connect with clients. * Resilience, tenacity, and independence with a knack for problem-solving and analysis. * Strong team-working skills with the ability to managecustomer relationships efficiently. * High-level administrative skills, especially for CRM database management.
