Sous Chef - Exeter&Wincanton Racecourse£35,000 per annum
Mileage paid between sites

Levy in partnership with Jockey Club Catering, is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at Exeter and Wincanton Racecourses. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a setting where no two days are the same - from thrilling race days to exclusive events, hospitality suites, and premiumdining experiences.
Supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, innovative menus for a variety of racecourse events
Leading and inspiring the kitchen team to ensure seamless service on race days and beyond
Managing food preparation, stock control, and ensuring all dishes meet our high standards
Bringing energy, creativity, and passion to the kitchen while keeping up with the fast-paced nature of racecourse catering
Maintaining top-tier food safety and hygiene standards
About you:
Talented with proven experience in high-volume catering, events, or hospitality
Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and stays cool under pressure
A team player with great leadership skills, ready to motivate and develop the brigade
Passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and creating memorable dining experiences
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellenceevery time
