Title – Rigging Team Operative Role: Reporting to the Site Supervisor and the Prep Team Lead, the Prep Team Operative is expected to ensure that all poles are prepped to an excellent standard in line with NIE specifications. Main Duties and responsibilities: Ensure that all poles are prepped on schedule and within the parameters of the outage dates agreed. Comply with Site Supervisor/Prep Team Lead instructions. Ensure quality is kept to an excellent standard and achieve continual improvement. Ensure approved PPE is used and worn at all times. Ensure tools and equipment are used as per client/manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure all sites are left clean and tidy and in a safe condition for the public/landowners. Requirements : A sound working knowledge of electrical infrastructure, safety rules / legislation. Good working knowledge of IT packages and software.
