As part of our expansion programme we are currently looking to recruit experienced: QUANTITY SURVEYOR – Internal Fit Out / Construction Location: Head Office Peterborough – Projects throughout UK&Ireland Hours: Full Time– Monday - Friday Salary: £65,000 + p.a - Dependent on Experience Pension: Workplace Company Pension Scheme Our Company prides itself on high standards, professionalism and quality of project delivery. Working with numerous high profile clients, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who havea can do attitude that’s proven within the shopfitting or internal fit out sector. Key Accountabilities: * Preparing and placing subcontract orders and valuing subcontract accounts * Preparing and updating external monthly valuations and final account forecasts * Monthly cost-value reconciliation reports * Preparation and submission of final accounts * Agreement and certification of sub-contractors interim valuations and final accounts * Manage and value variations * Completion and submission of PQQs * Maintain sub-contract database * Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare costing documents * Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt * Complete tender documents for submission and follow-up * Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-tender and post contract matters * Preparation and submission of interim valuations * Site measurements Personal Specification&Qualities: * RICS or qualified to a degree level (or currently studying the same) * JCT Contract understanding * Diligent numerical professional * Excellent Microsoft Excel skills * A full driving licence * High degree of personal motivation, enthusiastic and ambitious * Must have commercial acumen&be financially astute * Proficient in sub-contractor negotiations * Must be able to carry out take off’s / form quantities&formalise Bill of Quantities * Flexibility - working across all areas of business and hours to meet requirements&tight deadlines * Good negotiator Please apply with CV– only experienced people need apply for this
