About the role You will be responsible for: • Consolidating current special /project cargo clients • Building DFDS presence in sectors • Serving external customers with a variety of customs activities • Gaining new business, setting up internal structures to deal with customers conversing with customers on legal requirements of oversize products About you • Strong knowledge of business sectors which require non-standard transport and project solutions. Experience is overseeing transport solutions for projects in Ireland, UK&Europe. Knowledge of legal requirements for transportation of nonstandard (out of gauge) products• Engineering background an advantage to converse with customers, understand technical requirements needed to provide transport solutions. • Self-starter, motivated by ensuring excellence for customer • Enjoys providing attention to detail to ensure all aspects of movement of product are planned and followed through.
