OFCI Lead– Data Centres – Frankfurt Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland&Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced OFCI Lead. Responsibilities * OFCI Equipment Management: Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of owner-furnished equipment and systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards. * Coordination Between Stakeholders: Act as the primary point of contact between the client (owner) and contractor, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and alignment on project expectations, timelines, and quality. * Installation Supervision: Supervise the proper installation of OFCI equipment, ensuring it is integrated seamlessly with other mechanical systems and is installed in compliance with safety regulations and project standards. * Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure that all OFCI equipment and its installation meet the required technical and safety standards, conducting inspections and resolving any issues during the process. * Progress Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on the progress of the OFCI scope, addressing any delays, challenges, or deviations from the planned schedule, and providing regular updates to the project team and stakeholders. * Troubleshooting and Support: Provide troubleshooting assistance during the installation and commissioning phases, helping to resolve any issues with OFCI equipment and ensuring it operates as expected once in place. Requirements * 5+ years’ experience working with a recognised Mechanical/Electrical contractor * Familiar with Project /Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM process * Travel required for this position.
