Job Description

Our client, a prominent Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor, is currently seeking an MEP Lead to join their team at a data centre site in North Netherlands. This is a permanent opportunity within the dynamic and rapidly growing data centre sector. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the M&E packages in line with civil and structural elements of the build. Manage site safety alongside the Safety Advisor, including setup and maintenance of the Health and Safety File. Implement standard procedures for managing all aspects of the Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages. Manage site QA in collaboration with the Project Manager and team. Project schedule management, including programming and subcontract package progress. Provide weekly progress updates and three-week lookaheads, and maintain the site diary. Coordinate information requests, design information, and contractor design elements with architects and engineers. Review all issued information for content, buildability, compliance, and programme impact. Ensure timely approval of all materials and systems through the technical submission process. Manage project costs with the support of the project QS. Conduct regular quality checks, create snag lists, and ensure closeout of snags. Facilitate structured communication and progress monitoring with each subcontractor. Participate in site meetings, project reviews, engineering reviews, and handover meetings. Manage the closeout of all project streams, including Final Account and QA File. Manage setting out and building regulation compliance. Job Requirements: Degree in Engineering or similar. Experience working within a contractor or consultancy. Progress toward chartership or project management certification (PMP or APM). Experience in Data Centre or high-tech sectors is preferable. Experience with 'Owner Furnished Equipment' and 'Field Integrated Assemble'. Extensive prep work and off-site visits experience. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient with project management and information management software. Knowledge of civil, structural, building envelope, and finishes details.
