Senior EHS Advisor– South Dublin – Residential Our client is a €500m turnover, multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland&Europe. They undertake large turnkey projects for blue-chip clientele, in Europe the focus is on Data Centres and similar tech-focussed projects. In Ireland they operate as more of a generalist main contractor working across a variety of industry sectors including healthcare / hospitals, residential, education and industrial Due to a recent project win, our client is now seeking a Senior EHS Advisor in South Dublin. Responsibilities• Ensure adherence to Company Safety Management System, Environmental Health&Safety statutory provisions, and relevant legislation.• Develop and maintain Construction Stage Plans, method statements, risk assessments, Safe Plans of Action, and H&S permits to work.• Monitor compliance with Project Execution Plans and ensure the implementation of Good Safety Practices across the organization. • Assist accident investigations and communicate reports promptly to the project management team. • Conduct ongoing C.O.S.H.H assessments and manage the control of hazardous substances. • Perform regular site audits and inspections, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions. • Ensure that safety interventions are completed and documented. • Maintain and manage records of statutory inspections and ensure they are available for project activities, tools, and equipment. • Take a proactive approach to project EHS requirements and ensure sub-contractors adhere to company EHS policies and procedures. • Compile and deliver toolbox talks as needed. • Maintain up-to-date Safety File documentation Requirements • Relevant thirdlevel degree qualification in Environmental, Health&Safety• Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation • Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site.
