The Role Safety Manager, to lead and enhance Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategy across the company. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of workplace wellbeing. Key Responsibilities • Set and implement the strategic direction for effective HSE management and wellbeing programmes. • Engage with managers and employees to drive continuous improvement in HSE practices. • Oversee compliance with HSE regulations and maintain documentation to required standards. • Ensure robust risk assessment and incident management systems are in place. • Develop and review risk assessments across factory operations, including chemical handling, manual handling, noise, work at height, and confined spaces. • Collaborate with HR on health and wellbeing initiatives, including risk assessments for employees. • Implement and maintain HSE procedures, ensuring alignment with ISO 14001&ISO 45001 standards. The Candidate• Experienced construction or manufacturing HSE professional with a strong track record in construction or manufacturing. • In-depth knowledge of the building industry regulatory compliance and best practices in workplace safety. • Strong leadership and communication skills to engage and influence at all levels in the construction and manufacturing sectors.
