Position: Health and Safety Officer Location: Dublin Salary: Neg DOE The Job: The candidate will be required to support our Project and Contracts Managers in the implementation and control of all Health&Safety elements across all projects. This role is a full-time permanent position and will be based out of our head office/warehouse in Ballycoolin, Dublin 11. Responsibilities: * Hold a relevant Qualification * Have a minimum of 4 years experience on building projects in Ireland or the UK * Will have previous experience working on construction sites * Hold a full, clean Driving license * Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong excel skills * Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills Requirements: * Ensure H&S management systems are implemented and maintained across the site. * Managing the administration for the Health&Safety induction&training plans for all site personnel. * Regularly review and assisting the update Company Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures and Safety statements. * Manage training&compliance files for all colleagues&sub-contractors * Ensure that staff have all the relevant manuals and training certifications * Review sub-contractors Safety Statements and Safety Compliance. * Promote a continuous improvement culture in relation to all health, safety, and environmental work practices on the site. * Conduct site audits safety inspections. * Generate Tool Box Talks * Investigate/report accidents and incidents on-site ensuring relevant accident information for insurance purposes Due to the urgency of this vacancy, it is not possible for our client at this time to consider anyone without the appropriate work permits, visas or sponsorships already in place.
