Image via CrunchBase Apple announced on Friday that they would be making a significant expansion in Cork city and would be hiring an additional 500 staff. The company already employs 2800 people in Cork, where it has been for the last 30 years. As part of the expansion Apple is planning on building a new office block at their Holyhill base. Even without this announcement it looks like the company has been advertising positions in Cork.
