Job Title: Building Services Manager Salary:£60,000 – £86,000 Location: London, Greater London, United Kingdom Contract Type: Permanent Company Overview: A leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractor operating throughout the UK and Ireland is seeking to recruit an experienced Building Services Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will work on an exciting £55 million project. Responsibilities: Oversee the design, delivery, and commissioning of building services in a construction environment. Collaborate with pre-construction teams to ensure client requirements are met and reflected in proposals and contracts. Ensure all building services requirements are incorporated into the building design and delivered on schedule. Manage the design, drawings, and approval processes in alignment with the project programme. Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, specifications, and third-party accreditations. Work with planning teams to integrate building services into delivery programmes and execution plans. Establish and manage quality systems to uphold high standards and project specifications. Monitor progress and assist project management in ensuring specialist contractors provide the necessary resources and approach. Support quantity surveying and commercial teams in reviewing contract changes and work valuations. Manage the commissioning process and training to ensure systems operate as designed, validation teams are satisfied, and building users are trained.Attend client progress and technical meetings. Chair specialist design, progress, and commissioning meetings.  Qualifications: Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications (or equivalent): Technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical trade within a consultancy, main contractor, or subcontractor management setting. BTEC in Building Services Engineering, Operations and Maintenance Engineering. Electrical or Mechanical Building Services qualification to HNC/HND level. Degree in Building Services Engineering.
