The IT Helpdesk team is catering the first level of reported issues supporting end user queries/Issues. By offering a single point of contact we take the ownership for delivering a consistent, positive and timely resolution to every interaction we have by providing the professional experience to get the end user back to work as soon as possible. You are a function expert -  This position is for an Individual contributor who would be responsible for the following The IT Helpdesk Associate responsibility is to handle the users issues end to end and resolve the issues quickly. Responsible for delivering high class customer service to end users on their IT needs/tickets. Lead and/or participate on key projects and initiatives as per assignment to drive efficiency. Be customer oriented to ensure quality support that will lead to high customer satisfaction. Manage service tickets as part of daily tasks – be responsible for the service ticket from inception to resolution and act as facilitator as the need arises. Prioritize daily/weekly tasks as necessary. Ensure to follow the given processes/SOP's and add each and every detail in your documentation. Solve operating problems and involves technical resources as and when required to ensure timely resolution Collaborate and follow up with other support functions within GIT to resolve business users issues on time. Identifies, creates, investigates and researches user questions and problems as well as isolating and resolving information systems problems by Effectively using Knowledge management tool You connect the dots -  Your proficiency in managing the tickets received from different channels will help prioritizing the tickets and providing the faster resolution. You will connect the dots by referring to the SOP’s/scripts and making sure that it's followed and documented and also getting back to the Knowledge mgmt team if there are any updates required in SOP’s. You are a collaborator - You will work closely with the Local IT teams to handover the tickets and answer the queries received in the tickets. Monthly Continuous improvement meetings with the IT Helpdesk stakeholders will help reduce the process gaps. You are an innovator - You will also be suggesting improvements in the existing SOP’s and can also come up with a new process which can help resolve the issue effectively. You can innovate new ideas to complete the assigned internal projects  What you’ll need…(Required) Bachelor's degree required Should have at least 2 years of IT experience. Should have experience of providing support to customers/user over Phone Should be a good communicator to be able to coordinate with different GIT functions. Candidates should have some experience in the Networking/Active directory. Should have strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to multitask and prioritize critical items Good interpersonal and listening skills. Ability to handle multiple customer requests in a timely manner.
