What role will you play as a member of Colgate's Business Services team?  The candidate will be leading a team supporting Colgate Business teams in Global Functions across the globe providing Data & Analysis support. It involves working with Supply Chain, Packaging, Ethics and Compliance and more Functions The role requires an understanding of Internal & external data (Syndicated Market Data, Point of Sales etc.) and ability to develop and support the Analytical / Insights based Service & solutions. The role would need statistical data analytics experience using modeling and algorithms It would be great to have the understanding of necessary Data Transformation & Data Visualization Tools and Technologies to drive the service and solutions.  The Person should have worked on large data sets to drive performance and insights reporting The candidate should be Analytical problem solver with the ability to work,collaborate and be proactive and Responsive to Business needs Communication is prime requisite  You lead a hardworking team and guide  Problem-solver, with analytic thinking and ability to draw inferences from data modeling to business actionable Who can prioritize multiple work assignments and meet deadlines Effective written and oral communication. You connect the dots - Drive insights from internal and external data for business  Assemble large, sophisticated data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements Build data models for Business analytics to assist them in decision making You are a collaborator -  Work closely with Division/Global Analytics team Work with data and analytics specialists across functions to drive data solutions You are an innovator -  Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Good facilitation and project management skills Bachelor’s degree required, Graduate degree in Statistics, Computer Science or Mathematics field a plus Master’s in Statistics, Business or Analytics (preferred) 5-8 years of experience Experience supporting and working with multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment Proficient in data modelling and statistics tools Proficient in Reporting via Excel, Google, Tableau and other Visualization Tools Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management Managing a team for solutioning predictive models and Ad-hoc data needs from internal and external sources What you’ll need (Preferred) Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
