**DESCRIPTION** **Key Responsibilities:** - Engineering support is required at Aftermarket India Parts Distribution Centre (IPDC) on a day-to-day basis to work very closely with CFT members from Quality, SQI&Purchasing for below cases (but not limited to),− Technical query resolution during Inspection − Clarifying drawing specification query resolution (suppliers, SQI, Purchasing or Inspectors) − Handle Engineering deviations − Support Drawings unavailability cases, clarifications on drawing the specifications etc. − Legacy / Obsolete parts query support − Understanding&clarifying queries related to Engineering standards, references on drawings or details of BOM− For parts involving Service as well as Base Engine teams, connect with base engine team for getting clarification&concluding on decisions etc. (alignment)− Support PPAP activity on need basis **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Competencies:** Engineering Software Application - Supports Engineering Software according to instruction or need to enable Engineering users' efficiency. Engineering Software/Hardware Evaluation - Evaluates Engineering Software/Hardware according to engineering users' needs to provide CBSIT with guidance for selecting the Engineering tools needed.
