This position will serve multiple projects for their UX/UI design requirements for software applications In this role, you will work closely with a team of designers, developers, and stakeholders to conceptualize and create large-scale digital experiences and applications. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional visual design skills and be able to translate business and user requirements into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership Major Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to implement an enterprise-wide UX/UI design strategy Execute all visual designs, from initial concept through development hand-off Synthesize complex, abstract business requirements into meaningful and usable designs Bring the customer and product owners’ visions to life by conducting research, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and designing user interfaces Use storytelling and visualization skills to present and defend your design decisions to team members and stakeholders Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards. Help maintain a design library and style guide to ensure a consistent look and feel across various products Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10 + years of UX/UI industry experience Required Knowledge and Skills: Experience across all phases of product design from research to ideation, design iteration, prototyping, and delivering high-fidelity UI designs. Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in design tools, such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Zeplin, Illustrator, and Photoshop Ability to solve problems creatively and clearly articulate design solutions to stakeholders Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, or related field Strong portfolio demonstrating experience creating user-centered design solutions across multiple interfaces and screen sizes Comfortable designing for desktop and mobile devices  Team player - enjoys collaborating in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment Flexible - able to work quickly and adapt the approach to meet changing product requirements Self-motivated - able to perform with little direction or supervision, and comfortable suggesting new ideas to team members Passionate – enjoys solving complex problems and delivering a quality user experience Confident – comfortable communicating ideas in a virtual environment Total Rewards/Benefits: For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of employees and beyond!
