No leaves are assigned for the duration. **Internship Program overview** + **Internship Project(s):** You will be given a project to work on for the entire summer and do a final presentation during the last week of the internship. Your manager and mentor will help you every step of the way to ensure you learn and develop new skills. + **Learning Enhancing Sessions:** There will be various, mandatory, learning sessions every week to learn about Pearson, the Technology organization, and various other skills. + **In-Person Activities:** Throughout the internship, you will have the option to partake in office networking events and other Pearson India events. + **Final Project Presentation:** You will present a Final Project report-out to leaders in the final week.**Responsibilities:** + Engage in ongoing GIP projects under the guidance of the GIP API Engineering team. + Contribute to the development and enhancement of API-led solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform + Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information/data/ technical details. + Conduct literature reviews to stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in API Led Architecture + Summarize and communicate relevant research findings to the team. + Collaborate with the team to Implement API lifecycle management, including versioning, deprecation, and automated rollbacks. + Maintain clear documentation for API designs, microservices architectures, and automation processes. + Identify and Automate monitoring&alerting to proactively resolve performance bottlenecks. **Key Qualifications:** + Candidates should be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT. Freshers who have completed their studies are not eligible for this internship role. + Candidates should have a basic understanding of API implementation, cloud platforms, and database concepts. + An academic background with a focus on integrations, automation, or a related field is preferred. + Experience in coding in OAS, RAML, SQL, Java, or similar languages would be useful. + Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Effective communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and present research findings. + Ability to work independently and drive innovative research projects, showcasing a self-motivated and proactive approach. + Candidates should be well-rounded, eagerto take on new challenges, and have a strong desire to learn and grow. **Duration:** 3 Months (June until August) **Work Setup:** Hybrid - Office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday **Salary:** INR 30,000 per month **Who we are:** At Pearson, our purpose is simple: to help people realize the life they imagine through learning.
