In addition to producing bulk canola oil and meal, our food products division produces a wide variety of canola-based margarines, oils and shortenings for the industrial, retail and food service markets. Working with Richardson opens to door to a world of possibility.  We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant at our Yorkton – Oilseed location.  Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing service within the Spare Parts Warehouse to meet internal customer and process requirements in support of the daily operations of the maintenance department. Responsibilities:Receiving and warehousing of parts and materials, including proper off-loading functionsVerification, inspection and storage of parts and materials receivedTracking inventory and picking up items from suppliers as requiredUnderstand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rulesParticipate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times:Always using the required personal protective equipmentEnsuring that authorized work is completed safelyUtilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazardsParticipating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiativesReporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedure Qualifications:Completion of high school or equivalentPrevious experience in shipping, receiving and warehousing an assetForklift experience is considered an assetExperience with Microsoft Excel and Word with experience in word-processing and/or data entry is requiredA valid driver’s license is requiredMust have proven interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, excellent problem solving abilities, able to show initiative and multi-task with a strong orientation towards teamwork.An agriculture background is considered an asset. Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities. Interested candidates should click the Apply To This Position icon to apply online by March 17, 2025. Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
