Position: Accounting Technician Number of Positions: 1 Wage: $26.00-$27.00 per hour Work Hours: 40.00 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent) Vacation: 4% salary or 10 days paid vacation Benefit: Dental, Health, Disability Insurance Work Location: YVR Finance Cluster (7551 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC V6X 1A3) Main Duties:  Keep financial records and maintain various accounts using bookkeeping systems  Control and maintain hotel float, manage float disbursement when necessary, and complete monthly float counts for employee held banks  Prepare and reconcile accounts, cash receipts, tax returns and bills  Co-ordinate with property events and sales teams to ensure accurate billing  Perform other general administrative as assigned Requirements:  Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience  Completion of Secondary School is required  Completion of a college program in accounting or bookkeeping in a strong asset  Expertise with Excel and familiarity with accounting and management programs  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail  Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure  Fluent in English How to apply: send your resume to mapleleafhr@hotmail.com Please respond with your resume attached, those qualified will be contacted.
