Work site environment Outdoors Responsibilities Tasks · Interpret welding process specifications. · Determine weldability of materials. · Operate previous welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. · Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding. · Performing welding related repairs on the chassis, trucks and trailers. · Examine the equipment after welding and advise maintenance of defects. · Plan/set up of welding operations accordingly. · Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment. · Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps. · Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
