Shear Strength Construction Ltd is looking for two full-time Renovation Carpenters. The job description is as follows: Title: Renovation Carpenters NOC: 72310 Salary: $ 35.00 per Hour Terms of Employment: Full Time/Permanent Positions Available: 2 Start Date: As soon as possible Job Duties: Renovation Carpenters will perform the following job duties: · Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. · Use measurement tools to create plans that adhere to construction codes. · Plan and coordinate work at construction sites. · Survey building locations and levels. · Estimate costs and materials. · Lay subflooring, assemble walls and roof systems, install floor beams, and construct foundations. · Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. · Measure, install, and finish moldings, doors, stairs, and hardware. · Perform other tasks as and when required. Employment requirements: · Education- Completion of secondary school is required. · Experience-Minimum 1-2 years of experience is required.
