Business address: 100 - 7565 132 Street, Surrey, BC V3W 1K5 Job Title: Electrician (NOC 72200) Job type: Full time and Permanent Salary: $35/Hour for 30 hours a week Overtime as per BC labor laws Minimum Education: Secondary School Positions Available: 1 Language: Basic English Job Location: Surrey, BC Requirements · Completion of secondary education is required · Completion of related program or equivalent experience · Critical thinking and problem solving skills · Thorough knowledge of safety procedures Responsibilities · Review and understand drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring configurations for new or existing installations · Conduct electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and various components. · Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards during installation. · Install power outlets, switches, and other electrical components needed. · Install safety and distribution components such as switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels. · Conduct tests to verify compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repairs. · Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical and electronic systems. · Perform repairs and maintenance on faulty components or systems and keep maintenance records. · Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
