Company Location: 14655, 67B Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3S 0Z4 Position: Drywall Installer Number of positions: 4 Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $34.62 per hour Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Work location(s): Candidates are required to work at various job locations in Surrey (BC) and other areas in Lower Mainland (BC). Job Responsibilities · Measure cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings. · Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs. · Coordinate work procedures for drywall installation and removal. · Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners. · Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound. · Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in the compound. · Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry. · Install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings. Position Requirements · Completion of secondary school. · Completion of 3-4 years Apprenticeship program in the trade or a Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar trade. · Ability to communicate in English.
